Your information
Privacy policy
Effective August 26, 2026
This policy explains how the South Waller County community bulletin board handles information.
Information we collect
When you submit an item, we collect the event details, selected areas, optional neighborhood, venue, address, links, public contact information, flyer, and your email address. We also create a secure management token. If you join the weekly roundup, we collect the email address you provide. Basic technical information is processed to prevent abuse.
What becomes public
Approved event details, including any contact information you place in the public contact field, may appear publicly. Your submitter email, newsletter email, and private management link are not displayed publicly.
How information is used
We use submitted information to review, publish, manage, and communicate about community posts. We use newsletter addresses only to send the South Waller County roundup and related service messages. A privacy-preserving fingerprint of a network address may be retained briefly to enforce submission limits. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and retention
Hosting, storage, authentication, and email providers process information only as needed to operate the site. Submission records may be retained for moderation, corrections, and recordkeeping. Short-lived anti-spam records are automatically removed. You may request correction, newsletter removal, or removal of a submission through your management link or by emailing hello@southwallercounty.org.
Children
The submission form is intended for adults and organizations. Do not submit private information about a child.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service grows. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
